New Resource: La Strada Publishes Human Trafficking Data Collection Guide
The anti-trafficking organization La Strada has published a new guide to assist governments, service providers and others in protecting the privacy and human rights of trafficking victims. La Strada said the guide was necessary due to the increased collection of data for anti-trafficking purposes. According to La Strada, the improper use or release of a victim’s personal information may jeopardize the victim’s physical safety and make her vulnerable to social stigma and/or criminal prosecution in her home country.
