Croatia: Some Victims of Sexual Violence During the Croatian War Are Being Denied War Victim Status

Civil rights associations highlight that some victims of sexual violence during the Croatian war are being wrongly denied war victim status by authorities due to restrictive application of the Law on the Rights of Victims of Sexual Violence During the Armed Aggression, causing victims to remain silent, crimes unreported, and perpetrators unpunished.
