Afghanistan: Taliban Ban Women From National Park

The Taliban government has banned women from the popular Band-e-Amir National Park. The acting minister of vice and virtue complained that women had not been properly wearing the hijab at the park, and said "Going sightseeing is not a must for women." The move is in contrast to the hiring of the first female rangers at the park in 2013.
