El Salvador: Activists Campaign for Inter-American Court of Human Rights Intervention on Anti-Abortion Laws

Women's rights activists condemned El Salvador's anti-abortion laws in March, campaigning for the Inter-American Court of Human Rights to intervene. The campaign came after many reports of women dying during childbirths that were non-viable to begin with, and many thousands of women being jailed for suspected abortion or birth control usage.
