Turkey First to Ratify European Convention To Combat Violence against Women
On 14 March 2012,
The Convention was adopted by the Council of Europe on 7 April 2011, and it was open for signatures on 11 May 2011. It will officially enter into force after 10 countries sign and ratify the Convention.
