Funding: Call for Proposals on EU Enlargement 2004

The EU has achieved its fifth enlargement and has issued a call for proposals on how to explain the continuous process to European citizens. The process needs to be explained in line with the Commission's communication strategy on enlargement.

The main features of the call for proposals include:

the 25 Member States of the enlarged Union;
total funding under PRINCE program is 14 million, with grants from 100,000 to 500,000 per project;
it is open to organized civil society and to public sector bodies; not restricted to transnational actions involving Member States, but also open to projects within a single region or Member State.

Deadline for submission is 30 September 2004. The project must be completed by 31 May 2006.
