Gender-based Violence Project in the Balkans

The International Center for Research on Women has launched a three-year program on gender-based violence, an issue that has become pervasive in the western Balkans since the breakup of the former Yugoslavia (Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro and Serbia. The program will use action-based research to clarify the experience, attitudes and behavior of young men related to gender-based violence, and will measure the impact of interventions on male attitudes and behavior.
