Arrests Made in Human Trafficking Operation in Aze

Azerbaijan’s Anti-Human Trafficking Department of the Internal Ministry reported that three people were detained in connection with an organized gang allegedly trafficking women from Turkey for the purpose of sexual exploitation. Sex trafficking of women has increased 55% since 2006. Authorities have launched an investigation in the case.
