UN Commission to Conduct 15-Year Review of Beijing

The United Nations Commission on the Status of Women will commemorate the 15-year anniversary of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action in March 2010. Member states, NGOs, and UN entities will review the implementation and outcomes of the Declaration, including discussions about good practices, progress toward the Millennium Development Goals, and challenges left to be overcome. Several parallel events will be held to encourage further discussion and networking related to the Declaration.
