France: Afghan woman sets up TV station for compatriots fleeing the Taliban Regime

From a Paris-based studio, Begum TV broadcasts educational and entertainment programs aimed at Afghan women, providing a vital connection to the outside world amid the Taliban’s oppressive regime. Founded by Hamida Aman, the channel offers 24-hour content, including school classes in Dari and Pashto, to support women confined to their homes due to restrictive Taliban policies. The station serves as a beacon of hope and empowerment for Afghan women facing increasing isolation.
