Afghanistan: Taliban Refutes Reports of Afghan Women Prohibited from Social Interactions

The Taliban has denied recent media claims that Afghan women are banned from speaking to each other, calling such reports "brainless" and "illogical." While restrictions do apply, including the concealment of women’s voices in public and limitations on women’s activities, a Taliban official stated that women can still communicate among themselves, with specific guidelines during prayer.
